Verse 1 in familiar key of Bb major features octave accompaniment as RH melody moves up and down the keyboard
Verse 2 modulates up a semitone to B major, with a lesser dense texture. Two-part Baroque-like contrapuntal style. Contrasts come through articulation, with little pedal required.
Verse 3 again modulates up a semitone, this time to C major. Similar use of octaves as the first verse, with some inner voicing and LH voicing of the melody with semiquaver/16th note accompaniment.
