This short arrangement in the key of D major features an introduction, 1 verse, chorus, and repeats the chorus up a semitone in Eb major, then closes with a few melodic fragments from the song, uttered by the 3 different instruments. There are waves of emotion and intensity that should be emphasised through the changes in dynamics and register.
The violinist and cellist should at minimum be able to shift up to a high F# above the stave (violin), and up to a G above the stave (cello). I encourage you to experiment with different positions and fingerings to suit the timbre you want to achieve.
The pianist should be more advanced as there are more technically difficult passages.
